Alex van Heerden

23 November 1974 – 7 January 2009

Two separate interviews with Alex van Heerden are available below. Both were recorded in 2008 at the Solms Delta farm in Franschhoek where Alex worked researching the history of ethnic Afrikaans music.


Alex ran two websites, Frontierougue and Fyndraai, which documented various musical projects. He also had a MySpace account and some of his music is released online through Smallfunk.
